Nasser is a distinguished business leader and visionary, currently serving as the Partner and Founder of EAGLES since 2017, where he brings a wealth of expertise in AI, security, and enterpriseapplications across various industries including real estate, malls, and retail. In 2019, Nasser took on the role of Managing Director at the National Investment Corporation (NIC) in the UAE. In this capacity, he oversees the strategic direction and execution of the group’s urban master plan for the development of 1.5 million square meters. This includes managing a portfolio that consists of five-star hotels with over 2,000+ hotel rooms and apartments.
Before his current engagements, Nasser had a significant impact in the retail and real estate sectors as the Chief Executive Officer of Emaar Malls. Over his 15-year tenure, he was instrumental in the company’s strategic digital transformation and substantial growth. His achievements include steering the company through its public listing on the Dubai Financial Market, achieving a market capitalization of over USD 9 billion. Under his leadership, Emaar Malls saw remarkable enhancements in its operational strategies, including the implementation of tenant mix policies and the launch of a highly successful mall loyalty program with Emirates Skywards. These initiatives helped increase the annual visitor footfall to over 130 million and grow the mall portfolio revenues to over USD 1.3 billion. Nasser also actively explored and expanded new mall development opportunities in key emerging markets, overseeing the addition of over 7 million square feet to the group’s leasable area.
Prior to leading Emaar Malls, Nasser served as the Managing Director of Hamptons International – Middle East, where he further honed his expertise in international real estate management. His diverse professional background also includes over a decade of dedicated service in the Dubai Police, adding a unique dimension to his understanding of security and operational management.
Nasser’s academic credentials are equally impressive, holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Eastern Washington University, USA. You can find him dining late at night with the chefs of the hotels where he stays during his travels.
